We finished our term with a Wonderful Carol Service. We wish all our children and parents and very Happy Christmas.
Prep 2 enjoyed making their tree decorations. They learnt many new sewing skills in their Handicraft activities session during the second half of the term.
During preparations for the classroom decorating competition Prep 1 learnt a new skill. They all managed to curl their Father Christmas beards very successfully – watch out Santa!
Great fun was had at the School Christmas Dinner, some interesting Hats and Jumpers were on show!!!
Girls from Prep 3 and 4 performed brilliantly in competitive 4 a-side hockey matches against St.Johns last week. Superb effort by all. Particular mention to goal scorers Beth, Poppy and Indie who really took hold of opportunities in play with some speedy dribbling into the D. Particular determination in defence from both Seren and Rose. …
This half-term Prep 5 have been working on group compositions based on Peer Gynt “Hall of the Mountain King”. They have enjoyed working in groups exploring a wide variety of instruments.

We are very lucky to have a School in such a beautiful area of the country and occasionally mother nature makes it even nicer!
Yesterday St Christopher’s hosted a Prep Reception Open Afternoon for any children who may be joining this class next year. The children had great fun taking part in craft activities whilst the Parents got a chance to speak to the Lower School Staff and the Headmistress about what we offer at St Christopher’s.
This morning it was Prep 2’s assembly and they all had the chance to show the rest of the School what they had been learning about the Egyptians throughout this term.
