In Prep 2 this morning we have been making amounts of money using three coins, speculating whether larger amounts of money can be made in more ways or not. We are hoping to consolidate skills in finding totals using a combination of coins, making and testing predictions and work systematically! Look at the concentration!!
Today our Under 11’s have been to Cornwall to take part in the Under 11’s tournament at St Joseph’s School. They had a great time and competed well against the six other schools.

Today in Prep 2 we have been investigating addition – using up to 5 single digit numbers to create totals. It has been lots of fun!
This week Prep 3 are learning all about Anglo Saxons and the clothing they wore. The children have discovered that natural resources were used to dye their clothes. This afternoon Prep 3 have been using natural resources (red cabbage & turmeric) to practice dyeing t-shirts!
This Wednesday St Christopher’s School took part in the Independent Schools Association regional cross country. We are pleased to say 7 of our children have qualified for the National finals in Worksop. The staff are incredibly proud of all the children who took part and we look forward to supporting them in the finals.
This week in Nursery the children have been learning all about the Chinese New Year. I think you will agree they have produced some beautiful art work to celebrate the year of the Rat.
