The curriculum at St Christopher’s is always extended and enriched by trips and visits which broaden the children’s horizons and inspire their learning.
A busy programme of off site visits sees children of all ages enjoy a fantastic array of very different experiences linked to, and enhancing, their classroom learning. Add to these visits a number of visiting speakers who add variety and insight, themed learning weeks and outdoor educational opportunities and it all makes for a fun and vibrant learning environment.
During the Summer Term the whole School has a week dedicated to residential and educational trips. This is referred to as Enrichment Week. Examples of visits this year were:
- PGL Barton Hall, Torquay
- OA Surf Club, Bude
- Blackpool Sands, Dartmouth
- Powderham Castle, Exeter
- Torre Abbey, Torquay
- Butterfly Farm & Steam Railway, Buckfastleigh
