Life Skills – Prep 6

Posted: 9th October 2018

Prep 6 made the short journey to Ivybridge to attend the annual Junior Life Skills event.  Eight organisations, including the Police and Fire Service, gave short presentations to the children on various aspects of keeping themselves and others safe and what to do and what not to do, when faced with an emergency situation. The finale was a spectacular example of a “what not to do” when the Fire Brigade demonstrated the effect of throwing water on a chip pan fire, which can be viewed on our Youtube page at Chip Pan Fire Video.
