Moths to a Flame

Posted: 12th October 2021

On Monday 11th October the whole school took part in the Moths to a Flame workshop. Moths to a Flame is a mass participation art installation engaging thousands of people in creative activity and conversation inspired by our energy systems, relationship with nature, and the climate emergency.

They are hoping to make 20,000 moths to display at Glasgow’s glorious botanic gardens during COP26 and also to record over 10,000 messages. The children made and decorated some beautiful moths, which will be on their way to the display shortly.

You can find more information about the project here: https://www.mothstoaflame.art/project

Many thanks to Chloe Uden who led the project and Mrs Murrall-Smith for helping to organise it.
