At the beginning of each academic year, all Prep 6 children are assigned responsibilities as Prefects. This may be as Head of School (Head Boy and/or Head Girl), Heads of the four school houses and Prefects of Lower Forms. This imbues in them a sense of responsibility and enables them to make a real contribution to the smooth day-to-day running of the school. As form prefects they are expected to accompany their forms into their classroom after break, sit and socialise with them at lunch times and be on hand to help the Form tutors when required.
