Today in science we looked at man made and natural materials and considered their properties, investigating our ideas by using them to do some very fun printing. The class Lego took a hit and we made some fabulous broccoli trees!
Nursery have had a lovely first week back at School and this term they are learning all about transport. The children have been in small groups to learn about the different types of transport. Whilst the sun was shining the teachers also decided this was a great chance to use the new outdoor learning area.
Prep 1, Prep Reception and nursery had a wonderful trip to Pennywell. They all took part in the fabulous live nativity, met Father Christmas, sang carols and even managed to fit in seeing some animals. What a great way to end a busy but exciting term! Merry Christmas everyone!

The Under 9 Tag Rugby & Hockey team took part in a fun afternoon playing St Johns. All the children had a good time putting into practice the skills they have learnt in their games lessons.

Its that time of year again where our Prep 6 have the privilege of decorating the Christmas Tree which was very kindly donated to us by Plants Galore. I think you will agree it looks fantastic.
What a fantastic day at the Independent Schools Association national swimming at the London Aquatic Centre. The children from did themselves proud.
Over the last few weeks Prep 1 & 2 have been learning how to tie knots and build rafts. This week they got to build a raft for their favourite finger puppet and test it in the School pond. There were some nervous moments but the majority floated and survived!
Today the Under 9’s rugby team travelled to Trinity school to play in a tag rugby competition. They played incredibly well and won all of their games! Well done Under 9’s!
