African Drumming & Body Percussion – Prep 3
This afternoon Prep 3 have had their second lesson in African Drumming kindly provided by Mrs Venner. They are preparing for a Harvest festival concert from Father Kakuba visits us in November.
Rainy Games Activities
During the first rainy games session for Preps 2, 3 & 4 we took the opportunity to learn about our bodies when we play sport. Here are the Prep 2’s learning the main muscles in their bodies and when they need them in their favourite sports.
Healthy Eating – Prep 2

Art Display Broadhempston Community Shop

Maths Murder Mystery – Prep 6
Prep 6 are in the middle of a murder mystery this week. Murder at the movies requires them to use their mathematical skills to work through clues, eliminating suspects. We are sure we will catch the culprit soon!
Times Tables Test
Today Prep 5 preparing for next weeks tables using different fun methods.
Woodland Club
Lots of excitement was had in our first Woodland club of the school year. With the playing field freshly cut we had great fun gathering the cuttings which we used as a jumping platform! We then used the grass to make a giant face and we of course finished off with blackberry picking – delicious!!
Table Tennis Team
After a successful year last year representing Devon, the St Christopher’s Table Tennis Team got to try out their new kit today ready for the 2019-20 season! Good luck!
Sizes – Nursery
This week Nursery have been learning about Goldilocks and the Three Bears and have managed to get outside to our fantastic new area to continue learning about different sizes through play.
