This morning Prep 4 have taken part in the first session of our Self Regul8 sessions provided by the Take 5 Wellbeing festival.
This week Prep 1 have been learning about the 5 senses. Today they got the chance to learn about the sense taste, and I think you will agree from the pictures they had fun!
In maths today Prep 1 have been investigating coins under £1, we were then challenged to add together either 2, 3 or 4 coins to work out the value, some very speedy addition has been happening this morning!
For the last two weeks Prep 1 have been designing and making robots with mechanical movement, also using card engineering. The class have loved learning these processes and had great fun making them into roman solders with swords, shields and daggers.
This term Prep 5 had the challenge of completing a windmill with sails needing to turn. We had some fabulous results and Prep 5 loved getting their teeth into this project.
Prep 4 were given the challenge to build a catapult which is connected to their History this term. They rose to the challenge and had a lot of fun in the process.
Usually we would all be able to celebrate the end of term together and enjoy reflecting on the success of the past year at St. Christopher’s.
