Sports Day – Whole School
A fantastic afternoon was had at the Whole School Sports Day. All the Children took part and enjoyed themselves in the sun with St. George being the final winners. Well done to everybody and thank you to all the Parents for your support.
Sports Day – Nursery
The Nursery Children all enjoyed themselves yesterday at the Sports Day. The Children took part in a number of races and were cheered on by their supporting parents.
Show Jumping Team
The newly formed (by the children!) “St Christopher’s School Show Jumping Team” have just come 3rd at their first event at the South Devon West Show Jumping Show. Matthew also won his individual event. What a great first result well done to the whole team.
Shadows – Prep 1
This morning Prep 1 had their Science lesson outdoors. They took advantage of the beautiful weather to learn all about shadows, and how they move depending on where the sun is!
The Enormous Turnip – Prep 1
This morning the School were treated to a very different assembly performed by Prep 1. They told the story of The Enormous Turnip. Well done to the Children for using there imagination and starting Thursday off so well!
Cinderella Rockerfella
The Prep 6 production of Cinderella Rockerfella was performed last night with help from Prep 5. It was a great performance by all the Children involved and certainly gave the parents lots of giggles. Well done to everyone who was involved.
Swimming Gala – Summer 19
St. David were the champions this year at our Annual Swimming Gala. The children all swan extremely well in all their races. Well done to everyone who competed and thank you to all the Parents who turned up to cheer them on!
Baking – Prep 1
This afternoon Prep 1 have been enjoying making some fairy cakes, I am sure the parents are all looking forward to sampling them this evening!
Swimming & Athletics Day – St John’s School
All of Prep 3 and 4 went to St. John’s School in Sidmouth for a full day of sport. All children competed in numerous events, both in the pool and on the track and field. We had a very successful day particularly in the pool with some outstanding performances both in individual swims and the…
Challenge Games – Prep 3
This half term Prep 3 were challenged to make their own board games, they took inspiration from the many games played during the first half term. Some wonderful ideas have produced some brilliant games which we look forward to playing next week.
