This afternoon in Spanish club the Children got to try some traditional Spanish food whilst learning what they are called in Spanish. They got to taste Chorizo, Paella, Jamon Serrano, Acetiunas and much more delicious food.
This morning the Children in Prep Rec have been learning all about weight. They have been using scales to weigh different items they have found in the classroom.
A great afternoon on Thursday saw our U9/U10 and U11 Swimming. Massive efforts by all saw us beat both Trinity and Abbey. The result came down to the last relay, with every team having 2 swimmers from each group. Well done to all that took part.
Preps 1 and 2 visited Stover Park to learn about habitats. The Ranger guided us around 3 distinct habitats. We identified animals we found in the pond and then learned how they are adapted to live where they do.
Prep 1 have been enjoying learning all about the weather in our French lessons. This week in pairs they became weather forecasters. In true British fashion we had all weather conditions!!
Prep 2 were inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy to make their own collage using natural materials found in the school grounds.

This term Prep 1 have been investigating Africa, as part of this module we have been learning about the Maasai tribe. On Thursday the Under 11’s Girls played Rounders against Exeter Cathedral School. It was a challenging game with some improved fielding tactics. The whole team played well and Sophie was awarded fielder of the team, and batter of the team went to Sarah.
Today was the last of our Instrumental Concerts and saw the Children who learn the Drums and Voice perform to the School and parents. It was again another great concert and all the Children did so well. Well done to all the Children this week.
