Prep 1 – Soundart Radio
During Enrichment Week Prep 1 spent Friday down at the Soundart Radio studio in Dartington. Nursery & Prep Reception – Forest School
Wet weather didn’t dampen our sense of adventure this week with two exciting days of forest school. We learnt so much and got to explore Mrs Cleave’s farm, learning to light a fire, then roasting popcorn and marshmallows – delicious! Prep 1 & 2 – Seaton Jurassic
Prep 1 & 2 started off Enrichment week with a fantastic trip to Seaton Jurassic where they went on a journey like no other – back in time! They learnt all about the discoveries made by local fossil hunters, geologists and evolutionary-thinkers as they uncovered the stories of life on Earth.
Prep 2 & 4 – Dartmoor Hike
On the final day of Enrichment Week Preps 2 & 4 have been on a small hike around Houndtor. It was a fantastic chance for the children to experience beautiful Dartmoor, learn about the rock formations and visit a medieval town!
Prep 5 – Coverack
Prep 5 had a great 2 nights away at YHA Coverack. They spent time enjoying the beautiful sights of Cornwall as well as BF Adventures and cycling at Lanhydrock.
Prep 4 – Start Bay Centre
Prep 4 enjoyed their first residential away at the Start Bay Centre in Slapton. They completed a low ropes course, learnt about Operation Tiger, walked around Slapton Ley and enjoyed playing some games at the beach.
Prep 5 – Coverack Team Building
The sun is shining for Prep 5 to learn about team building at Coverack.
Prep 5 – Residential
Today Prep 5 have gone on their 2 night residential to Coverack in Cornwall, but not before a little trip to Miss Harris’s farm to help with the lambing.
Enrichment Week – Prep 5 Tudor Day
On their first day of Enrichment Week Prep 5 have spent the day learning all about life in the Tudor times.
RNLI Visit
This morning the RNLI visited the School as part of their outreach program to educate the Children about water safety. The Children had a great time about learning how to stay safe this Summer when visiting the beach.
