In Prep 2 the children have designed their own fair tests to find out about stretching materials. We started by blowing up some balloons and were shocked to discover that if you put in too much air they do not return to their original shape! We then attached bags of marbles to samples of different materials and measured them carefully to see if they stretched. Great teamwork and some interesting results!
