We’re incredibly proud of our U9 Tag Rugby team, who finished as runners-up in the ISA South West competition yesterday. Competing against much larger schools, our team showed grit and determination from start to finish.
The day kicked off with a brilliant performance that saw our team top their group. In the semi-finals, they faced a tough challenge from St Joseph’s but held their nerve in a very close match, securing their place in the final.
Although they were beaten by a strong Heywood Prep team in the final, our mix of Year 3 and 4 pupils played with real heart and perseverance throughout the day.
