U11 ISA Netball Tournament

Posted: 18th January 2019

On Wednesday nine of our girls went to Trinity school for an all day netball tournament. Teams had travelled a long way including three teams from Wales and one from Cornwall. The standard was high and the girls did an excellent job of fighting through the more challenging games. We had a mixture of results and although we did not place within these 8 teams the day was a great success and the girls improved their defensive determination as the day went on and got used to a faster paced and more physical style of play. The girls have got 5 games under their belt, warmed-up ready for the numerous fixtures coming up this term against local schools. Izzy and Sophie were leading the way as the only prep 6s but were supported superbly by prep 5 and 4 girls. A new experience for Rosie and Phoebe who stepped up to play with the older girls with such determination and being involved in some excellent attacking plays. Well done to all of the girls!
