On Tuesday afternoon Preps 1 & 2 visited Buckfast abbey. They have been learning about materials in Science. They went to the Educational Centre and got to experiment with all different materials. They also learnt about the Monks, their jobs and how they lived. After the Education Centre they went inside the Abbey, they had to be very quiet and respectful, it was beautiful and was hard to believe it was built by only 4 Monks!
