Whilst we couldn’t hold our Whole School leavers service and prize giving we were able to give the Prep 6 the send off they deserve and held a smaller service for the Upper School. Good luck to everyone moving on to new Schools and we look forward to seeing everyone else back in September.

Finally the end of our Enrichment week and the Children have had a great time. The last day of the week is a whole School trip to Woodlands Park, all the Children are having great fun before a well deserved half-term.
Day 3 of Enrichment saw the Prep 3 & 4 Children go for a day out at the beautiful Bigbury-on-Sea. The children took part in an hour long surf lessons and then spent the rest of the time exploring the beach and playing group games.
Day 2 of our Whole School Enrichment week and Prep 5 spent the day at Haldon Forest enjoying everything it has to offer. At the end of the day all the children got to have a go on the High Ropes course at Go Ape.
Whilst the rest of the School have been away on various trips for Enrichment week the Nursery children have been making their own fun exploring shaving foam!
Prep 3, 4 and 5 had a great first day of Enrichment week at Forest and Beach. They enjoyed archery, leaf bashing, making fire, toasting marshmallows and identifying wildlife!
Prep 6 had a great day learning about renewable energy whilst taking part in the REEL project with TRESOC. They made their own wind turbines and Archimedes screws.
Today was the first day of our annual Enrichment Week. To start the week off Prep Reception, 1 and 2 went to Kents Cavern where they learnt all about Stone Age people and animals.
This morning Prep 6 got to take part in the REEL project (Renewable Energy Experimental Programme). The program is intended to bring relevance to energy generation by introducing the children to hydro, solar and wind schemes that are right on their door step.
