Celebrating the joy of apples with our Apple Day adventures

Posted: 24th October 2024

St Christopher’s celebrated Apple Day with fun activities, apple-themed art, fresh apple juice, and outdoor games, bringing learning and nature together for our students.

We had a fabulous time celebrating Apple Day at St Christopher’s Prep School and Nursery this week.

This exciting event is all about enjoying apples and learning about nature while having a lot of fun.

So, what exactly is Apple Day? It’s a lovely national celebration that highlights the importance of apples, orchards, and the great outdoors. It’s a chance for everyone to reconnect with nature and appreciate where our food comes from.

The children jumped into a whirlwind of activities. They designed and created their own apple-themed art, chopped and pressed fresh apples, and even juiced them for a delicious treat. The highlight was our lively Apple Olympics, where students competed in fun games that tested their skills and teamwork.

Seeing the excitement on their faces and the creativity they brought to the day was a joy for everyone involved. Apple Day at St Christopher’s was a fantastic mix of learning, laughter, and appreciation for the amazing world around us.
