Lower School Poetry Assembly
This morning was our Poetry Assembly for the lower School. The children all did a great job to remember their poems and performed them confidently in front of the whole school.
Materials – Prep 1
The children in Prep 1 were investigating magnets. This term they are learning about the properties of different materials.
First Aid – Prep 4
Yesterday Prep 4 had the chance to learn about CPR in their First Aid activity.
Sea Creatures – Prep 4
This week in Art Prep 4 have been making some giant Sea Creatures.
ISA South West 5 a-side Football
At the ISA South West 5 a side competition in Cornwall, St Christopher’s finished in a creditable 4th place out of the eight schools. This was despite only losing one game all day to the eventual winners. Well done to the squad who worked hard during all their matches.
Soundart Radio 102.5 FM – Prep 1
Today Prep 1 have enjoyed a workshop run by Soundart Radio in Dartington. Soundart radio are spending the day giving Prep 1 the basic skills in broadcasting, through fun and creative workshop. Emergency Services – Nursery & Prep Reception
This morning we welcomed our local Police in to talk to the Nursery and Prep Reception Children about the Emergency services. The Children had a great time learning about what the Police and also got the chance to have a look at the Police car and have their finger prints taken!
House of Marbles – Prep 1 & 2
