St Christopher’s School recently had the pleasure of hosting the ISA South West Under 9 Tag Rugby Festival, a day filled with intense competition and sportsmanship. This event brought together eleven teams for a day packed with exhilarating rugby action.
St Christopher’s Impressive Performance:
In the spirit of friendly competition, St Christopher’s entered two teams into the tournament. The Red team showcased exceptional skill and determination, making it to the semi-finals. Despite a super effort, they narrowly bowed out to the eventual champions, Heywood Prep School.
Grand Final Showdown:
The highlight of the day was the grand final showdown between Heywood and Stover. The match was a nail-biter, with Heywood emerging victorious in a 4-3 triumph. It was a great match to watch.
Celebrating Team Spirit:
The tournament not only celebrated the athletic prowess of the teams but also emphasised the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. All participating teams contributed to the vibrant and positive atmosphere, creating an unforgettable experience for players and spectators alike.
