After a long and refreshing summer break, we were so pleased to welcome all the children back for a new and exciting academic year at St. Christopher’s! A special, heartfelt welcome to our newest little ones who have joined Reception—this is such an important milestone, and we are excited to support each child as they begin their learning journey with us. The Reception year is a time of exploration, growth, and discovery.

Exciting Events to Look Forward to This Term
The autumn term is filled with exciting activities and special events. Here are some of the highlights:
Swimming Events: Our swimming programme is in full swing, with opportunities for students to develop their water skills and build confidence in the pool. Look out for our upcoming swimming competitions!
Tag Rugby Matches: Tag rugby events will take place throughout the term. These fun, energetic matches are a fantastic way for children to learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and have lots of fun.
Harvest Festival: We’ll be celebrating the Harvest Festival with a special assembly.
Apple Day: A wonderful tradition here at St. Christopher’s, Apple Day celebrates the changing season with apple-themed activities, crafts, and a delicious array of apple treats for all to enjoy.
Remembrance Day: Our school will honour Remembrance Day with a service of reflection, where students will learn about the importance of remembrance and paying respect to those who have served.
Rainbow Theatre’s Cinderella: We’re excited to welcome the Rainbow Theatre Company for a magical performance of Cinderella.
Nativity and Carol Service: As we head into the festive season, our students will take part in the much-loved Nativity play, followed by a beautiful carol service. These heartwarming traditions are always a highlight of the year and a perfect way to end the term.
We are so looking forward to a fun-filled, educational, and inspiring term ahead.
