Prep Reception have been getting in the Christmas spirit this week during their specialist art lessons and have created some beautiful Reindeers.
It’s that time of year when Prep 6 get the honour to decorate the School Christmas tree and what a great job they have done! So it can be enjoyed by all the “bubbles” we have put it in the playground this year. Thank you to Plants Galore for another fantastic tree!
This week Beth in Prep 5 organised a Christmas card competition. She was please to announce the winners today as: 1st Prize – Jacob 2nd Prize – Scarlett 3rd Prize – Thea Well done to all who took part and to Beth for organising the competition.
Congratulations to Auran in Prep 3 who has been practicing his coding skills from ICT lessons at home and has completed the hour of code certification for his efforts.
Prep 5 have been learning about the Tudors in their History lesson and in ICT have been producing a Powerpoint on the monarchs of the Tudor time. This term Prep 3 have spent their handicrafts sessions perfecting their cross stitch skills by making some hanging birds and Prep 4 have been very busy making Papier-mâché flowerpots which they have decorated most superbly. Well done everyone your skills really improved over our handicraft sessions during the first half of term !
This term the Prep Reception children have been developing their maths skills, including learning how to partition numbers up to 10 and how to create number bonds.
What better way to end the School day than with a bit of Yoga. We offer a range of After School clubs which change every half-term and are included in our fees.
Finally it was the chance of Prep 5 and 6 to take part in their Sponsored run. All the children ran as well as they could to raise money for the Kanyike Project.
