We are delighted to have joined The Mossy Carpet project – a community art installation created by the Art and Energy Collective.

This innovative project aims to raise awareness about climate change and inspire a deep appreciation for nature by highlighting the magical, often-overlooked beauty and ecological significance of moss.

The Mossy Carpet is an expansive, interactive artwork featuring thousands of handmade pom-poms and textile tufts, each representing individual efforts to make the world a better place. The children were thrilled to see the installation up close and contribute their very own moss-inspired creations.

As part of the project, the children learned about the unique qualities of moss and its crucial role in climate protection, gaining  a deeper understanding of the natural world and their role in preserving it for future generations.

The Art and Energy Collective encourages participants to embrace the hashtag #bemoremoss, inspiring everyone to learn from nature and take steps towards a greener future. The Mossy Carpet will be unveiled at the COP30 in November 2025, and the children’s imaginative contributions will be woven into this living, evolving artwork.
