Beautiful Surroundings

We are so lucky to have such beautiful surroundings on our doorstep.  This week Prep 1 and Prep 2 enjoyed more woodland activities down beside the River Dart.  They looked for Autumn treasures and had a go at stone balancing and building stone towers!

Murder at the movies…..

Prep 6 have had a busy week as they came across a crime scene in our turquoise room and were hired as detective Chief Inspectors to solve this murder mystery. Prep 2 Geography

This week Prep 2 have been learning about direction. Great fun was had directing each other around the playground using left and right, stop and go, with only a few crashes!!

Prep Reception’s first Games lesson

A very excited Prep Reception joined Prep 1 at the sports field for our first games lesson. We started off with a (shortish!) cross-country run followed by lots of  games to introduce new concepts such as zig-zagging and finding space.  All of these skills will be needed for Tag-Rugby later on in the term!!

New Computers!

Exciting first couple of days for Prep 5 as they get used to a new classroom and start using the new Laptops..  St Christopher’s has invested in ICT this year and has introduced 15 new Laptops for use throughout the School.  The Children are also being given individual access to Microsoft 365 to allow them…

School Minibus

10th September 2018

First day back at School and off for the Torbay bus run.  St. Christopher’s runs three minibus services driven by our very own teachers, which run from Ashburton, Halwell and Torbay. Routes remain flexible to cater for parents requirements.  For more information please contact the School.
