Remembrance Assembly

8th November 2018

This morning the whole School took part in a Remembrance Assembly to remember the sacrifices made over the last 100 years, and to say Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.  Poems were read out by Prep 6 as well as individual poems read by the Head Boy and Girl.

Fireworks

8th November 2018

Monday saw the first Lantern Festival and Fireworks parade.  All the children have spent the first half of the term making Lanterns which they paraded round the playing field, this was followed by some fantastic fireworks.

Just Dance – Prep 4

As a one off change from yoga activity, Prep 4 showed us their dance moves this week!

Nursery – The Gruffalo

6th November 2018

This morning the Nursery started learning about Julia Donaldson books, starting with the Gruffalo.  The children had great fun making pictures of the Gruffalo and then enjoyed signing along to the Gruffalo song.

Harvest Festival – Oct 18

Poetry Assembly – Prep 3, 4, 5 & 6

This morning was the Prep 3, Prep 4, Prep 5 and Prep 6 Poetry Assembly.  The children did a mixture of whole class poems to individual poems.  All of the children did a fantastic job to remember their words and deliver them in a confident manner to their parents and the rest of the school. …

St Christopher’s Award

This morning Mrs Cottell was delighted to present Tula with the St Christopher’s award, for her positive attitude in all that she does.

Head Boy & Head Girl

18th October 2018

This morning was a proud morning for the parents as Mrs Cottell presented the Head Boy and Head Girl badges to Dylan and Isabelle.  The house captains and prefects were also all presented with their badges.  Prep 6 are looking forward to taking on the added responsibility and helping nurture the younger children in the school.
